About the piece: Soap Dispenser with Light is a piece taken from the installation Astonish, shown in Tempo Tubato Gallery in Tel Aviv April-May 2013. This work created a transcendental experience out of mundane elements such as public toilet paraphernalia and “cheap nightclub” lighting effects. The quotidian quality of the materials was juxtaposed with the clean symmetrical lines of a dark shrine.

Soap Dispenser with Light  is made of a functioning soap dispenser containing a custom-built and battery-powered LED light source.
