Inspired by the artist's belief that love is beautiful and messy, never perfect.

Each piece is unique in that they are all hand painted. The beauty of using such an organic and free flowing material such as ink is that no two paintings are ever the same, even if they have the same theme. Beginning with the ink background, done in a day long layering process to achieve depth, the artist Kahila allows the richness and fluidity of the ink to give each piece its original background.

*Given that the art is on paper and water based mediums are used, the paper does get a bit wavy. This is by no means considered defective of the art. It is just the nature of water based mediums.
