"What You Seek is Seeking You" The early Christian stone artwork we encountered in the Antalya Museum - Turkey, reminded us of this quote from Rumi... it must have been the birds, as symbols of freedom and peace, perched on top the saints’ heads and their contented looks...

Illustrated by hand; transferred and digitally printed on 100% silk, and washed satin; edges are hand-rolled.

Each scarf has a unique crocheted charm that carries forward the traditional Turkish art of oya. The crochet characters are hand-made in Southeastern Turkey in cooperation with a UNDP project that aim to foster sustainable economic development of the region’s women. Each scarf comes in its own linen pouch that is hand-embroidered with the Rumisu's bird logo.
