Back when sailboats were used for transporting freight and fishing, their sails were thick and hardwearing. The white sails we know were only introduced later by style-conscious yachtsmen.

Leather is a raw material with unique irregularities that come from the animal’s skin. With care, leather will acquire a magnificent patina over time.
