Polufloisboio - Deep-Resounding 6
Photographed by Milan's Pasquale Mascia
Athens. A double door revealed for an instant: one leading to the sky, one showing the entrance to the underworld, the Reign of Hades.
Polufloisboio: Deep-Resounding is a portfolio dedicated to archeology in Greece, ruins evoking a glorious past in contrast with a prosaic present.
“Polufloisboio” meaning “deep-resounding,” was the epithet of the sea in Ilias: so monumental signs of an ancient civilization emerge from the landscape, dominating the present and opening a door to a forgotten greatness.
